Tank size for Blue stripe pipes

I was considering setting up a 12 or 24 gallon nano cude for a pair or trio of these guys. A LFS gets them regularly from Africa and I've seen them eating froozen mysis. I still plan on letting the tank run for about 2 months or so before I added them so its good and established. Do you think they would do ok in a 12g or would I need to go to the 24G to provide them with enough live food aswell. Thanks

Well...bigger is almost always better, and it is in this case. I would go with the 24g because pipes need sufficient room to swim.

They will definantly survive in the 12 but will be much happier in the 24. I just upgraded from a 12 to a 29 and my female bluestripe likes it a whole lot better. But, I did see her a lot more in the 12.
