Anyone have any recomendations for any software for tracking water parameters, livestock maintenance etc.... ?

Thanks,
Tracy

Im not sure if you use a controller but my controller comes with software for tracking all water parameters. It is the ReefKeeper 2.

Digital aquatics website has software for the reefkeeper 2 but you can download it for free (and you can use it seperate from the controler) . the nice part about it is that you can record and graph your own values for pH, salinity, ect. Best part, its free.

I have the one that came with the reefkeeper 2. It is pretty good for automatically pulling in temp and ph but I was looking for something a bit more.

I have been trying out this one for the last few days:

I like it so far. I did the online update for it and it pulled in over 5,ooo pictures of different species.

Thanks for the suggestions,
Tracy

I Love this!!! You put up a post seeking information and in turn the information that you have given out is great.

I started out using an excel workbook to track my "stuff" since I work with excel "all day" in my real job. Looking for a program a while back I came across the reefkeeper 2 log, which was a help.

But this software program is much better than what I have seen by far. It is really "to me" a nice program, and far better than the others that I have looked at.

Thanks for passing this on, It gives me something to play with (Like I needed something else to play with) But I think this will fill the void I have been looking for.

Let us all know if you find something better,

I Love this site!!

I have used Aquarix for my freshwater setup. Although it was primarily created for freshwater maintenance, its customization always you to add all you want to log and add pictures for all events.

Pen and paper, no computer required. Excel works nice too, if you already have it. If you can't afford software (Like M$ Office) then check out Open Office. Its free for home/non-prof I believe..Less M$ has bought that too...
