Tank & Stand in Living Room

Drilling.jpg

Looking good Dan, can't wait to come see it in person. The pic of you drilling next to the tank shows how big it actually is....gonna be nice.

I got one hole totally done today. I got the second hole more than halfway done. I didn't start on it till late again today (went out too late last night). Tomorrow I should be able to get a good amount done.

Someday my 150 will be up and running.

Tick tick tick almost a year and counting. Just kidding, A man with a plan. Can't wait to see how yours turns out.
By the way did you ever come up with the tinted glass?
Hopeful you'll take some pics as you put together that overflow.
Get it done Dan and careful with that drilling.
George

Thanks George. I did speak with Lee & Cates and they can get me the tinted stuff. They say it's tinted grey but I saw it in person and it looks like black tint to me. I just hope it's dark enough to hide my plumbing. I forgot about ordering bulkheads so I have to do that tomorrow. I only have 2 and I need 6.

I love watching projects come along. Can't wait to see it up and running...Good luck. I also noticed you even had Florida State liscense plates, you must be a serious fan!! Either that, or you spent alot of money attending there:D

Unfortunately I didn't go there for school, I went to UNF. I would say I'm a pretty serious fan. I haven't missed a home football game in 8 years. LOL, maybe psycho would be a more appropriate term.

you need a bigger beverage.
I took alot of accounting classes and economics classes as electives. Did you ever have professor porter of micro/macro economics? I took financial accounting with tanner, man that was tuff

Fortunately I did not have Tanner for accounting. I had at the time, the chair or head of the econ dept. for macro and a lady I think for micro. Macro was very difficult with that professor. If I remember correctly the average score on his first exam was a 64% and he was absolutely furious! God I love curves!!

That college always used curves on exams. It was sweet, it was almost like you didnââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t have to try. I got high Cââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s and Bââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s on almost every quiz and exam, with the curve those all turned into Aââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s and Bââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s. Thatââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s why I kept coming back to take another elective in the college of business Every other college at unf never used them in my classes.

The overflows are looking good. I am now thinking about going that route with the calfo style rather than drilled through the bottom. It saves space your way. Are you putting in dams in front of the overflows? or what ever they are called.
