Tank stand too tall?

I want to get people's opinions on the stand I am currently building. The stand is going to be for a 210 Gallon tank (72" long x 24" wide x 30" tall). The stand I have currently is 27" tall so in order for me to look at the tank I have to bend over. I want the tank to be right in your vision so that you never have to bend to look at it. That said, I am currently building a stand that is 43" overall. This puts the top of the tank at 6'1" tall with the viewable part of the tank stopping at 5'11" tall. Have I gone a little to far and made this too high?? I feel like its tall but not too tall, I would like to hear how everyone else feels.

I have a 24" high tank and I made my stand 42" for viewing when standing and I love it. I just have a small step stool folded behind the tank for when I need to access the bottom part of my tank.

I've got a 40" tall stand and a 30" tall tank. I'm about 6' tall and I can reach the front to middle sandbed areas of the tank from the front. I need tongs to reach anything on the bottom rear of the tank.

IMO 40" is a great height for a stand. The incredible eye-level view more than makes up for the lack of access on the bottom-rear.

cool, I am not worried about getting into the tank don't mind having to get a step stool. I am more concerned with how the tank will look.

Mines just over 38 in high. just keep a step stool handy!!!

is that a 37 gallon corner tank? It looks alot bigger. I recently had a custom glass corner tank made for a customer that is 48" deep on the sides and 30" tall. Crazy tank, probably one of a kind.

Mine's something like 42"-43" off the floor, then the tank is 27" deep. I use a stepladder for working in the tank.

54 corner

The bottom of my new build 315gallon is 39" off the floor. And the tank is 28" tall And I am 5'9".Figure I spend alot more time viewing than tinkering in the tank. So I don't mind whipping out the step ladder when need be.

Which will probably be everyday like me...

I built a 9" platform for under my aga stand on my 180 for that reason. I hate bending over to have to look in the tank. like it much better now, pulling out the stool is well worth it
