MonKei size is not all that matters :p
a nano would be great on the tank tour

 Thanks for the encouragement.... Now i just need to get the cleanup crew going again! Algae is catching up with my new lighting.. :bounce3:

Jake -- last Sat in Sept sounds great!

Can everyone who is volunteering post/confirm what size tank(s) you have? This will ultimately help us decide how to narrow down the list (we'll try to keep as much variety as possbile). We should have a firm list to confirm with everyone by 2nd week of September.

This is what I *think* you guys have...

Me - 75g + Sandra's 12g cube
Stockton

Bdimas - 100g + Leatha's 12g cube
Stockton

Rulesmith - 360g custom
Stockton

Wuelfman - 225g custom
Stockton

Friendorfoe - 75g
Manteca

Monkei - 11g custom
Stockton

Luis - 36g
Stockton

So far I don't see why we couldn't see all of these. With most of them being in Stockton driving time won't be bad at all.

haha...i am here.... i could show my new tank i guess. I just got a 24 nano cube with several mods done to it. it will give me an excuse to get some more to put in it. he monkei...speaking of..do i hear cleaning crew buy??

To clarify, we have:
360 gallon custom acrylic, and 55 gallon glass bowfront, 100 gallon sump/fuge. Both tanks are connected and use the same water machinery.
We have Bubble King skimmer, and a calc reactor and kalkwasser by Aquatic Systems Design. Three metal halides over the main tank, 1x400w (15k) and 2x250w (20k) with Lumenarc reflectors. The bowfront has a 250w (10k) metal halide.
We also have 2 koi ponds, 1,000 gallons and 8,000 gallons with a 2,000 gallon bog pond for biological filtration.

ok rulesmith your tank will be last :p
everything after yours will be a letdown hahahah:D
will be cool to see a bubble king in action

Odie,

Is that, "in" as in "I'll show my tank" or "in" as in "I just want to see a bunch of tanks"? :D

If you want to show your tank please post what size(s) and what city you're in. We currently have 8 tanks on the list and I'm talking with one last person to see if they are planning to add theirs. After that we're going to actually have to narrow the list down a little I think... 8 tanks = at least 6 hours, probably more, which means it will be a full day to see all of the tanks.

You cain,t have refreshments unless you view my tank, It's a 95 wave reef and fish combined. Let me know if you have room to include me in yor tour, Odie.

Odie,

Sounds good - please send the requested info (see above) to our Event Coordinator, Mark.

Thanks,
Jacob.

p.s. cold refreshments sound good :)

Important - Please Read Each Point Below
******************************************************

1. I think we have plenty of tanks signed up (it's great to see some enthusiasm!). Those who are offering your tank please have all of your info sent to us by the September 15th, see a few posts above if you did not catch it yet.

2. The BOD will discuss any possible narrowing down of the list. We have quite a few tanks and may have to pick and choose due to time constraints.

3. We will finalize a plan by the 22nd and email it to everyone on the NVR membership/email list. We will NOT be posting the personal addresses, names, or other information anywhere online.

I'm looking forward to seeing all these local reef tanks!
Happy Reefing!
