Tank update and pics

Jeeper in my free time
Well after selling almost everything off a few months ago, and some very generous friends, the tank is back in action and well on it's way to looking normal.

I began restocking in late December beginning with the rock structure. All of the new rock (about 3/4 of all rock in the tank) is manmade and is already developing a nice coating of coraline. Thanks go to bored4long for the rock! Once the rock had time to develop i began adding corals to the mix. Due to very eratic work hours i decided to keep the tank as a softie garden. This way if something went wrong, or needed attention my wife can handle it until i get home. In addition to ease of maintenance, i really prefer seeing the swaying of the corals under the wavemaker. It's a very peaceful setting in a very hectic house.

I still have a way to go as far as aquascaping, but the tank is thriving, and the diversity is crazy. I've found several pseudocorynactis anemones in the tank (atlantic nems), and the halimeda garden came from out of nowhere. There are baby cleaner shrimp running around the tank from a spawn almost 4 months ago. Hidden on the right side of the tank is a specially designed pair of rocks that the babies can hide in away from predators. I made 2 rocks with flat bottoms, and they are situated with a 1/4" gap between them. There are also baby turbo snails that are finally reaching noticable size. I had turbos lay eggs 8 months ago, and they are finally reaching a size that you can see without looking. Anyways, here are some pics, and once the light have been on for a while, and the corals open fully i'll get some closer shots
