Hi!
Upgraded my 63 to a honking big 320. Added about 120lbs fully mature live rock, not out of water for over 20 minutes. Also added a bigger cuc. I've been testing daily for signs of a cycle - nothing yet. It has been a week.
I was going to wait two weeks to add anything, do weekly water changes, and call it cycled if I don't see any issues? I've been feeding approx 2 cubes a day, and have nine small fish in (largest is a 2.5" goby) all fish extremely happy and active so far.
Want to time my qt right! So if I should wait longer, I shouldn't yet begin qt.
I am researching the needs of anthias, would love some now that my tank is big enough. But I read that I want about 7, and to add all at once (and feed four times a day!) - that is a giant spike in bioload. I'd rather not risk any sort of cycle, and wait until the tank can cope. It is a big water volume, but the same rules of biology surely apply?
