Tank Video

Josh things look really good that yellow wrasse has turned into a big boy. Just add a new yellow a few days ago myself. That Monti cap that's brown was that the green. I lost all my caps in my 70 started with bad bulbs not changed quick enough.

I would like to see the video but with my slooooooooooow dialup I will have to wait till I can get high speed internet.

Here are some pics that I took during my last water change. Most of these are top-down shots.

Everything looks great!!! Wow I can't believe that Monti! Sure makes a difference with the MH lights. I'm in awe with how things have grown.

Great job!!! Woo Hoo!!

Thanks. The monti is about 2/3rd the size it was before the picture. It was growing to much towards the middle of the tank. Dont know if thats a bad thing or not, lol. Its supposed to have a purple rim, but i think my lighting might be to much for it. It showed up more under my pc lighting.

You gave me a piece of that monti when I first started attending the meetings. Thanks!

But I've never seen the monti having the purple rim. Of course, we're still operating under pc lighting. But that will change very soon. I'm extremely excited.

We've managed to break our monti multiple times. Ours has never been one big mass like yours, instead many leafs.

It was purple when Steve picked it up for me. Lighting conditions, water quality,... etc may be the cause why it isnt very purple. It still has a slight tinge of purple. I have decent gorwth on my hard corals, but maybe not as much if i ran a calcium reactor. I've thought about buying a medical pump to dose the 2 part B-Ionic, instead of dumping it all in at one time. Who knows what the future will bring;)

Sometime you'll have to explain the medical pump. Are we talking an IV of sorts? That's what I'm picturing!

Yes that is the IV system. Its supposed to work quit nicely. Most of them you find are refurbed units around $100 or so.
