tankmates for cardinals

I started a 15 gal. and I'm planning on putting coral and fish in there. My favorite saltwater fish is the Banghai Cardinal and I would dearly love to put some in there. The guy at my LFS said that they can be very timid and need calm and unaggresive tankmates. Does anyone have any suggestions on tankmates for them? (keep in mind its a small tank, so no large tankmates please )

I wouldnt really advise a cardinal in that small a tank, definetly not "some". If you are set on a baghii cardinal in there (2 will more than likly fight and one if not both will be killed), then ideal tankmates are gobies and things, anything peacefull really.

I wouldnt go further than 1 other small fish. Baghhi arnt that small a fish. A bottom dwelling goby would get my vote. Or a yellow headed jaw would be cool (though tank must be covered).

you will have to really keep on top of water changes though. I dont personally feel the cardinal is a good choice for a tank this small. though good luck if you try!
