Just finished tearing down two tanks and consolidating into one. Have lots of items for sale. Wanted to offer to local folks first before offering them in the other forum.

How did you like the Powersweep? Did it do a good job for you?

I had 3 powersweeps and thought they were not worth the money. They get clogged very easily and stop rotating. You can soak them in RO water and they will work again but I thought to much trouble for them. Even the biggest one really doesnt move much water. Just my opinion

You know, I actually never had any problems with mine when it was in operation in my 55g. I must have been one of the lucky ones. It worked really well. Then again, I also tried to keep it as clean as possible. I did have problems with it once when it fell off the glass once and got some sand stuck in it. Otherwise it was fine.

Though I must admit, I really love my MJ1200's and Seio 820's better.

do you still have the HOT filter? what's it rated at?

Yup...still have the Magnum HOT 250. I believe it is rated for 250gph. Comes with carbon basket and micron filter.
