tap water ?

where I'm from the tap water is every good

PH 7.1
NITRATE .0
AMMONIA .0
PHOSPHATE .0
NITRITE .0
so for nano tank 10G is it ok to use it ? Or should I buy 1gallon from walmart for wc every week ? I like to change thw water every small amounts (stress out anyone )

water conditioners and skimmers don't mix though if you plan on using one.

I would buy or borrow a tds meter to see what it reads at. If its low then its ok to use. Make sure you treat for chlorine. FYI Im on well water and besides high iron mine tests fine, been using it for years now with no probs.

Your ph is low. Salt water fish typically need a ph of around 8.0 to 8.4. I would recommend you raise that to the appropriate range. Here is a link.

I think he's posting the pH of his tap water, which isn't going to be a problem in and of itself.

Get a copy of the water report from your local utility. It has a breakdown of the contents of your water. You will need to treat for chlorimine no matter what.

On the other hand, with such a small tank, you could get a deionizer just to be sure, for <$50.00 US.
