Tax or no tax?

Last week I placed an order and as with all my previous orders I was not charged tax. Yesterday I placed another order to take advantage of the Thanksgiving sale and suddenly I was charged sales tax. What gives? Is this to compensate for their sale prices?

Thank you for your post, Unfortunately we have to show sales tax on the documents but if you add up your subtotal and your shipping charges (if any) with out the tax amount that is the amount that you were charged. If by chance you show a different amount on your billing statement please contact us immediately so we may correct the problem for you.

I'll send you the details. I was charged tax in addition to the items. There was no shipping charge since my purchase exceeded $175.
