TDS meter and DI resin

I'm in the market for a TDS meter and some DI resin. Is all of teh resin on Ebay basically the same thing? I have a Water General RO/DI system from Filter Direct on Ebay, and it has the clear DI canisters, that you just change the resin in.

Also, I'm stuck on which TDS meter to get. Here's my two options that I have narrowed it down to....

Mine was neither of those only 20 dollars works fine.

Probably cant go wrong??
Dont know about di, as long as \I get 3 ppm I wont change.
