personally, I have never seen one at walmart or any local shop. A herb shop may have one or possible even lowes or home depot. but you'll probably end up paying a heck of a lot more than you could. I have a Hannah instruments tds meter I got from ebay and I feel it works fine. paid around 20-25 dollars for it.
