TDS Meter

The TDS meter that came with my RO/DI system requires 130 ppm (NaCl) standard solution for calibrating. It did not come with the unit. Does any one know were I can get this from? localy in NJ or on-line

Never seen such a thing. 342ppm, 800ppm and 1382ppm is all I've ever seen online. Most units come pre-calibrated, and some offer the option to calibrate using various (or any) solution you'd like. I'd contact the people who sold you the TDS meter.

dumb question, couldn't you use almost any known solution around the are you're aiming for to calibrate?

You want to calibrate the unit with solution closest to the levels you plan on measuring, ie the lowest possible calibration solution. That's what I was told by the folks who sold me my HM Digital Dual Inline TDS Meter.
