I have a maricultured Teal Acro that has gone from Teal to a light green color. What are the usual suspects for such a color change? On top of shelf 12" below surface of 24 deep tank.

120 Gallon reef
1.026
8.6 KH
430 Ca
1350 mg
GFO & Carbon BRS reactors
Heavy Skimmer
Small fuge section with Chaeto
PO4 .0175 Salifert
Nitrates don't read but only have API test
Photon 48 LED running Sunrise/sunset 12 hour cycle max 70b / 30 white
9 fish including harem of 5 anthias, fed twice a day.
Thanks for any ideas.

Didn't you just switch to LEDs? Any other corals changing colors? When I had my LEDs they changed a icy blue acro to a light green color. The acro came from the uncw tank and was grown under metal halides.

And you probably don't even need the gfo if your phosphates stay that low. I stopped using Gfo and feed like crazy while maintaining .04 po4.

About 6 weeks. LEDs went online 3 months ago EST. The only other ones changing were some browned out acros I picked up from a local hobbiest and they are turning lighter, not darker. I also have a deep green Loripes that has turned a lighter green that is down lower in the tank. Just the Teal Acro has turned a darker green.

I have had maricultured corals take up to a year to acclimate and show its true colors. gone from its original color to something totally different then start to come back to its original and even change some more.
