technique for getting my bw clown and false perc to host lps

Can I try this? Putting a clear plastic cup over the coral and having the fish inside so that they are clearly touching the coral. The coral will be a hammer. My b/w swims along the false wall in the left back corner of the tank completly ignoring the neon green tips of the hammer. I just want to see these guys host in something because I can't get an anenome in my small tank

If the coral is movable you can try moving the hammer slowly to where ur clowns are hosting. Like move it 1 inch everyday or something. They might get an idea.
