I had some interest from a guy in Cali - but his mum just came down sick so that looks like it might fall through. I was giving him a few days to get his life on track before I move on.

Another boston reefer was asking about them too. But nothing firm yet.

FYI - the LEDs cannot be seperated and sold seperatly. Pacific Sun makes these as master / slave units - to seperate them means that the slave would be rendered useless

I'm still working on getting to the hardware store to buy the materials I need to properly solder the Par Meter wires. Stay tuned!

After some additional thought - I'm adding the brand new - never saw water return pump to my sale. My next build will require larger external return pumps.

Reef Ocotpus Diablo DC10500 pump $200 this was purchased 2/2014 and has never seen water - still have the box.

NOTE - the manifold will not be included!!!

Hey Ted. on the lights what are the dimensions? The web says 15â€Â³ x 7â€Â³ x 2.5â€Â³. Is this 15x7x2.5?

Yes - their dimensions are 15 inches x 7 inches by 2.5 inches.

Each can cover 36 inches (long) by 30 inches (width) by 36 inches (depth of water) - depending on how high they are mounted.

Each fixture has the following LEDs

(12) Cree Xlamp XM-L, (8) Cool White & (4) Neutral White)
(6) Cree Xlamp XT-E 450nm 575mW/W
(6) Cree Xlamp XT-E 465nm 575mW/W
(2) Cree Xlamp XP-E 475nm
(1) Cree Xlamp XP-E Orange 610nm
(4) Cree Xlamp XP-E Green 525nm
(1) Cree Xlamp XP-E Red 630nm
(5) UV-A 400 & 420nm

I did my best to price these out on an LED buying site - I think all in all - the LEDs alone would cost you close to $300 for one fixture.

I also include the bluetooth adapter to allow connection to the lamps from a PC.

Boy - I really would have thought these lights would have sold themselves. Since that doesn't really seem to be happening - let me tell you some of the features that blew me away.

The level of control you have over the individual lights is unprecendented. If you're worried about the level of whites or reds - you can lower the levels to acceptable amounts.

Here's a screen shot of the granularity that's controllable:

If you don't want to mess with the complexity - you can always load up the natural par tables supplied by Pacific Sun. I think they have a hawaii program and they definetly have a bali program.

Pacific Sun actually went to some coral farms in Bali and used a spectrometer to measure the individual spectrums of light and applied that to their own par program. You can either run it as a standard program or you could download their par table and adjust it to your run times.

What really blew me away was their moon program. All you do is put the date of the last full moon / lights on / lights off time and the lights will automatically increase or decrease in intesity as the phases of the moon occur. I still look at the real moon and
