a little off topic, do you have a cat? I think it would be very cool to see a cat looking at the fish or hanging from the side of the stand..

You did a very nice job.. I have only personally seen 1 cylinder tank; it was a display at an private company, maintained by an aquarium company.

No sorry no cat but i have two shar-pei. But this sunday the rug goes out the door as i finally got my other standcover made in FOREX and that will end my topless tank period aswell. I will update with pics offcourse.

Congrats! Hey you finished the canopy and stand...very nice! I love that cylinder because its endless swimming for the tangs....they can swim without stopping and having to turn around.

hmmm... that "weird coral" may not be a coral at all. if you ask me, i would say its some kind of rock anemone. i'm not sure though =D

Here is mine but it has only been up for a week so there is little to see I'm afraid.

If your tank is 180 gal or more perhaps it might be better if you were to open your own build thread here on the Large Tank forum.

Sorry Dave, didn't mean to intrude. He asked if there were any others out there so I responded. As far as the tank goes, if you had looked at the picture you would have seen that it is almost to the ceiling and takes up an entire corner of the room and if you had read the tank info given at the bottom you would have seen that it is a 330 gallon .
