After seeing someones tek light with a fan mod it made me want to hack up my tek and do one myself.
So I had to pick out some fans to use. I wanted something other then just a plain black fan but didn't want any leds either so ended up going with these fans.

What first caught my eye was the red fan blades. Then I seen they came with fan controllers and grills to boot. Also they move a decent amount of air 43.5-87.5 CFM
Next I had to find something to power them. Looked around for some ac/dc adapters. Didn't see what I wanted.
Then I found a external fan controller that would power 4 fans. BINGO.
Ordered one of these.

Called a metal fab shop and they said I could have the holes laser cut for $20. Went out there and it was a no go. Something about there laser bla bla bla. So went to another metal shop and had it plasma cut. Not as precise but it worked.
Came home to find all my parts on my door step. Got started on sealing up all the holes on the fixture. I tried to make it as close to the ATI air flow pattern as possible. Still need to do some work on it but here are some pics.
Begin by taking out the reflector.
Then moved the ballasts over to be able to seal the air slots by them.
Here is the fans which are inside the fixture.
So onto the finished product.
A little vid on it (crappy phone vid).
