What size is everyone running?
How many stages?
Is everyone running Di?
Anyone running UV?
If you could pick one Brand/size what would it be and why?
I am doing a little research on a future purchase and wanted to see where everyone's thoughts are.

Spectrapure 75GPD that was originally a 3 stage but i added the dual DI stages so now its a 5 stage unit. Mine was a 40GPD membrane when i bought it 4 yrs ago but it needed changed and i had upgraded to a 220 from a 75 so i wanted faster production. I have had no trouble with the Spectrapure unit. I also run UV on my tank. I have no nuisance algae in my tank , but i also run an aggressive refugium, so no telling on that situation. Water is clear and everyone is healthy so i will stick with it.

i am running a spectrapure maxcap 90 gpd i would recomend this to everyone its been in use since june 2007 filled my 90 gal tank 30 gal sump 30 gal frag and 45 gallons a week since then and i have changed 3 pre filters 1 carbon block 0 di and 0 membrane rite now it has a tds in of 174 and o out at 65 psi

Now that i think of it mine is a 90GPD also because it fills a 30 gal brute in short order.

Thanks for the input. Anyone else? Is one brand of membrane better/worse that another. I know of Dow, but there has to be more makers out there.

I bought one off of ebay...the 2 output 6 stage....for cheap....does the trick.....run a separate line off of the di filter for aquarium water...

I’m running a 100 gal. a day 3 stage ro/di no uv. I bought mine from Melevsreef.com for $170.00.

mine is a 4 stage from Ebay. 220 going in and 0 going out. Been using it for almost 3 months now with no problems. Can't beat the price.

I use The Filter Guys "Ocean Reef +1". No problems thus far with well water.

I don't remember where I got mine from but its 90gpd 3 stage with DI. Works great.

I have the airwaterice typhoon III, love it. Not saying all the other ones don't work or dont last, or dont work well, but there are quite a few rodi units for sale, Ive never seen a AirWaterIce unit for sale here ;c). Not that it hasn't or couldn't happen though.

I use an ebay special. super cheap and get 0 on the tds meter. had to tighten a few of connectors so it would not leak but that was it. it was a steal if i rember right it was like $80 shipped cant beat it.

I use The Filter Guys "Ocean Reef +1 5 stage 75 gal/day. Been over a year and no issues and you cant find better customer service anywhere.

Well I just finished hooking it up http://www.airwaterice.com/product/...per_75_GPD.html I flushed it, let it run. 230 at the faucet, 13 after RO, 0 after DI. Very easy install and it does what it's suppose to. It takes around 20min per gal, not too bad for a 40gal setup.
