Green slimer is usually refered to as a.yongei or a.formosa......that is a.abrolhosensis

Just wanted to comment on your excellent observation skills! Good eyes.

My green slimmer (probably A. yongei) has as you indicated green skin. I posted the pics for comparison.

Also my slimmer has, what appears to be, smaller polyps relative to the coral body. Though the polyps on mine might be more withdrawn than usual as I have very heavy flow through out my tank. . . . . . . Darryl V any comments on whether there is a polyp size difference between A. yongei & A. abrolhosensis??

I have only heard the "green slimer" label applied to A. yongei, but that's just in my limited exp.

Here is a "Slimer" http://sdmas.com/corals/81.php with the more pronounced coralites. The acro seen in the OP does not have that. So i would rule out Yongei a.k.a. Green Slimer.

Abrolhosensis looks pretty close.

I really want to say A.cervicornis http://sdmas.com/corals/898.php but it is a slim chance this is a Caribbean acro.
