well i just got my nano up an running. I replaced the stock pump with an MJ900, and i have a Visitherm heater set at 79 degrees. First let me say that my wife hates the heat, and our apartment is always at 68-70 degrees, the AC has been on for 3 months now when some havent even used theres yet.
Well the coralife digital thermometer says 82.5, i have the same thermometer on my 50 gallon reef and that says 80. I decided to try the other one, so i put them both in the nano and the new one says 82, old says 80.4. I then put them in the 50 gallon and they were both 2 degrees off. I also have one of those suction cup therm. and that says 81.
Do you think im okay? even if it is 82-83, is that too hot? I just cant imageine it being that hot with the AC Always on.
Thanks,
Jeff
