Temp Probe Problem

I am having an issue with my temp probe and I hope that I am just overlooking something. I have a Profilux Plus II and when I plug in the temp probe, which is new, nothing is registering. The unit itself says Temp --- . Any ideas?
BTW I tried turning the Profilux off and back on but no avail.

"---" means disabled

-> enable the temp probe in menu temp

BTW I am more and more impressed with what the Profilux can do. I have recommended them to as many people as I can. Great product. Can't wait to see the III.

also could be temp probe plugged into level port, seen that a few times too

yes sorry I should of added that you still would get the ****

On technical support I see quite a few **** when the probe is in the level sensor port
