Temp probe Where did you install it

I was a bit dismayed to read that the temp probe for teh AC III could not be totally submerged that half had to be out of the water.

My main issue is when I do water changes... Tank level and refugium level drop and the sump level raises....

How do I deal with that? (right now it's in my overflow because it won't get lower than the durso inflow during water changes)...

Anyway Neptune can do a better temp probe?

Any other suggestions?

Push the probe into a block of styrofoam and just float it in your over flow. That way the probe will follow the hight of the water level and remain submerged.

using styrofoam is always a good idea for floating probes.. no worries about water level or the probe slipping out of it's suction cup holder (or the suction cup letting go and dropping the probe into the water) :)
