Temp question (calibration)

I was curious if anyone had a quality thermometer that I could use... I recently upgraded controllers and the new controller/probe is reading about 1.5-2 degrees lower than my old one. I have a few other thermometers around however I am not sure any of them are accurate as they all differ by a degree or two. I am not sure of an accurate way to calibrate it without knowing exactly what my temps are.

I have a temp thermometer that you could use. Or you can get one for $2 at Petco.

I am in the west valley, 51st and Union Hills Area.

I have a 3 $ jbj that reads 78, a 2 dollar aqueon that reads 81, a coral digital thermometer that reads 86, and an RKE that reads 75.5.

I'm not so much concerned with what the actual temp is, after all we live in Arizona and our tanks can't get cold obviously, but for piece of mind I would actually like to know what it really is.

Any one you know with one of those point & shoot hand held ones?
Mine is pretty accurate.

You can calibrate it with a cup of ice water, it should read 32 degrees
