As the weather has gotten warmer I'm having a hard time keeping my temps below 83. How bad is this, I may just have to turn my heater off for the summer.

thats getting to the high end.. why would you have your heater on? is it not temperature controlled?

temp swings are more of an issue...but 83 is getting on the high side

Im having the same issues. Im only getting to 81.5. The weather in florida right now is 90's during the day and as low as high 60's at night. so my temps are ranging from 78.5-81.5. I have a rkl that is keeping it under control with my fans and heater as best as possible. Can we get some more info on the tank?
I also run my light cycle later in the day when its cooling down.
actinics-3:00pm-12:00am
3xmh-4:00pm-11:00pm
This also lets me view my tank. I dont get home until around 8pm.
