Temp. tank for spiny burrfish big enough?

To help justify ordering an Indigo hamlet, a spiny box/burr is on my stocklist and also available at the same online retailer. I want to add the spiny puffer probably last into the main tank and the hamlet will be one of the first. I want to add a few more fish inbetween. So would a 29gal be enough for a temporary tank for a spiny puffer for like 2 months inbewteen QT for the other fish? Probably get the medium one 2"-3" instead of the large 3"-5". Almost sound like a plan? ;)

Or is the attitude of the spiny different from the porcupine? I saw this vid online and got semi-worried about adding fish after the puffer is intro'd. I've read that the spinys are a bit easier going, more like Anthro's.
