I do not know, I just recieved 4 units last week so I have no practical experience. I would verify the connections are correct and that you do not have both the battery and switched socket installed. If anything I would expect a relay that sticks a bit and perhaps this will wear in, one of the changes is a much higher powered relay and these generally take more power to switch. My older Tunze monitors are the most precise controllers I have ever used. You might need to contact Tunze direct on this one as I do not know for sure. I do know that on my CO2 controller set when I first connect power the solenoid opens for a few seconds but then it gets an accurate reading and settles in and doses at the exact pH I have set and turns off immediately after reaching that pH. I know that the new Temperature controller was a complete redesign and is analog technology as this was the only way to avoid any risk of resetting the temperature by power surges, something that most digital units are vulnerable too, perhaps this resulted in a very slight compromise of accuracy.
My advice- give it some time, make sure you are only using one power supply. make sure the jumper has a firm connection, ask someone at the factory- or I can ask for you.
