temperature for bta

i keep seeing mixed opinions so i decided to have the rc crew weigh in! What is the preferential temperature for a bta. My temp hangs right around 78 degrees but the heater got unplugged yesterday and it dropped all the way to 72 before i had noticed. The BTA was bigger and more stretched out and more beautiful that i have seen her yet! nothing was harmed in the tank during the temperature swing but is this cooler water temp directly related to the fullness and bountifulness of Rosita!! my rbta lol. thanks in advance

Can you send some pictures?

I am sure it is plugged back in but I wonder where it is from. Maybe it is used to the cold current coming up and it knows there is something in it to eat.

in reference to the first picture, when i came home and the water temp was so cold it was much larger than it even is in that pic. i would say the size difference was about the same as the difference between the two pics i have posted in this reply , she was massive

does anyone keep their bta at a temp below 76 F with the same success or better results that at a higher temp?
