temperature issue

Quick question... I'm currently cycling my 190 litres tank (nothing but sand and rock in the tank) with 21 kg of LR and seems like the Juwel heater is working funny, just noticed that the water temp was aroun 29oC and maybe it was like that for a couple of days... i have put the heater in a timer now to control it until the replacement gets here.

Will the fact that the temp was high will affect the cycle or the rock?

Cheers
Pablo

If the temp was higher it may allow the cycle to happen quicker. If it is too high it will kill off the good little creatures at a high rate.

Due to a broken thermometer, my first tank ever cycled at ~90F.
Luckily I caught it before I put fish in :eek2: I don't remember it really being any faster...
