temperature swing

How many of you are running a temperature controller or just control by the heater? How tight you control the temperature?
To lower down the swing, I have put two heaters set at same temperature, one for return water, one for discharge water, also changed the MH to LED...what else I should do? I have a PLC controller, but it can only control for 1degC, probably it is too much?

I am trying to eliminate all factors to bring out the color from SPS.

i just run a heater in my overflow. i get a 2 degree shift with halides.

Reefkeeper Lite can control the temperature +/- 0.1 degree. However, people say 2 degrees daily swing is okay for reef.

You will be fine before my RKL I would have about a 4 deg change with no Ill effect,

4degC change still okay? with my LED lighting, the temperature swing is much less. I am trying to control it within a degc. The controller i am using is a DIY product, more function than RKL and much much cheaper however, the temperature accuracy is only 1 degc. that means, i will have 2 degc range (+/-1degc)

I keep mine at 81.8-81.9 via RKL, dont think a few degrees a day matters though. Think about the ocean..
