Lost one, a small one. Woke this morning to find one mostly dissolved. In the pic you can see the back left with the slime at the base. There are still a few like that and there are 3 clumps or them with 3-5 each group. 2 groups are OK, the one that dissolved is on the clump that doesn't seem to be doing too well.
All the Fl rics and other colored yumas are doing great, so I assume it must be from messing with this variety too much. They are in a good location, or so the rest would appear so, so I wil be leaving them alone now to recoop. What a mess.
Paid $65 for a rock with 16 or so, so even if just half make it through I will be happy. I guess these I won't ever be fragging and sending out to anyone.
I have a green FL ricordia that was over 3" across that I dropped a rock on and smashed into 4 peices just a few days ago. The peices have already started to close, attatch and bubble up again. I also fragged an orange yuma that has healed back up and is doing fine.
Maybe has to do with species local? hardiness and all? Oh well, live and hopefully learn.
