Tempermental yumas

Love these yumas. They hate to be mucked with though. Touching or moving them sends slime streaming from their base. I hope I haven't done too much harm. Touchiest yumas I have ever seen, but they are coloring up daily. These are the dirty browns I got a few weeks ago. Used flash so color is pretty much right on. Thanks for looking.

Lost one, a small one. Woke this morning to find one mostly dissolved. In the pic you can see the back left with the slime at the base. There are still a few like that and there are 3 clumps or them with 3-5 each group. 2 groups are OK, the one that dissolved is on the clump that doesn't seem to be doing too well.
All the Fl rics and other colored yumas are doing great, so I assume it must be from messing with this variety too much. They are in a good location, or so the rest would appear so, so I wil be leaving them alone now to recoop. What a mess.
Paid $65 for a rock with 16 or so, so even if just half make it through I will be happy. I guess these I won't ever be fragging and sending out to anyone.
I have a green FL ricordia that was over 3" across that I dropped a rock on and smashed into 4 peices just a few days ago. The peices have already started to close, attatch and bubble up again. I also fragged an orange yuma that has healed back up and is doing fine.
Maybe has to do with species local? hardiness and all? Oh well, live and hopefully learn.

Best wishes that your remaining rics heal well :) I get a little frazzled when something isn't quite right and there's nothing you can do but wait hehe

not to hijack this thread. But I got this polyp from FLRicordea today and snapped a picture. These are hot yumas, cant wait till it colors up more! thanks man.

I DID give you the wrong yuma. I was wondering about that. LOL. Looks good. Under my 20kMH they don't look that good. Did it detatch from the rock?

Hey man, is it really the wrong one? it was redish in the bag but placed it in my tank and it colored up nicely. As far as it detatching it did. before it even got outta the bag it was off the rock. they move quick lol.

No, I was kidding. I thought LOL meant laugh out loud. I keep having problems with people when I use that. Guess I need to stop using it and soemthing else to show I am kidding.
I just meant it looked better in your tank than mine.
Are you going to be in tomarrow? My Fl rics were delayed Fedex and I am picking them up in the morning and wanted to stop by and get the water changed out since it will be late till I get them home. Give you a chance to see them also.
