Perhaps you could tell us a bit about what we're looking at, e.g. what are the dimensions of the display tank, what sort of pumps, sump, filtration, lighting, etc. What fish/invert stock do you have? etc.

It's a 300g Marineland DD
Custom oak stand
48" My Reef Creations hi-flow/reef sump
Reef Dynamics INS 250 Skimmer
Return pump is a Super Dart Gold
Circulation comes from two MP-60's at about 50% power in Reef Crest mode
BRS carbon reactor
BRS soda-lime air fliter (which has really benefited my ph levels)
3 Hydra 52's for lighting
Bubble Magus dosing pump for calc, alk and vodka
I'm stocking it slowly. For fish, I have 1 Yellow Tang, 1 Kole Tang, 1 Royal Gramma, 1 Six-line Wrasse, 1 Falco Hawkfish and 3 Blue-green Chromis. Corals so far are a few pieces of Monti Cap, some GSP, a couple of small Sarcophytons, a Duncan frag and a few random mushrooms.
Between the simplicity and effectiveness it's probably the single best piece of equipment I have. Since installing it my ph is consistently around 8.12-8.15. Before I started using it I could dip down close to 7.9 at times. The pellets need to be changed every 7-10 days or whenever I start to see a reading below 8.1.
