There has been a certain spot in my tank where eveynight... I would notice thin tentacles reaching out from a point... the tentacles are really really thin and long.. the thing is.. the only corals near it are blastomussa and Zoa colony... they don't seem to be harmed by it.. ut better safe than sorry...

Definitely not aiptapsia or majanos...

Tentacles are almost colourless... and each as if has it's on brains going trough the LR and stuff..

During the day.. It will all disappear...

Sounds like a brittle star, which is harmless. I have several in my aquarium and t looks pretty weird as the lights go out. Two of them are actually bioluminescent (Caribbean) and they are even freakier as I have blue lights flashing in the aquarium when they catch some food.

Could even be spaghetti worm---harmless. Most tentacles in the dark are harmless. It's the mouths that can travel that get into mischief.

sk8r..
Is spaghetti worm mobile or like th feather dusters.. they cave in somehwere?

I doubt it's a brittle star.. I hear they roam about.. this one on the other hand.. is Immobile.. same spot everynight.

I have the same things i believe...they're an opaque sorta white and "search" for food near the spots in the rock they're living in. they seem to pick at the rocks and retract if touched or if a bright light is shined on them. They don't appear to be dangerous, though if they brush up against a coral they may aggitate it, which is what i'm worried about (the ones i have are of course located in prime spots that i want to put my future corals.
There's actually one living in an old hermit crab shell in my tank, i'm going to open it up to see if mine are indeed spaghetti worms, or something else.

Spaghetti worms have a "large" central body that they keep hidden and have multiple tenticles that go searching for food in the outside world

are they coming out of one spot? I have some similar creatures in my tank, I believe they're a type of hydroid, but they're just single strands coming out from the rockwork. I've never had something harmed that I noticed by them, and they always retract when I shine a light on them.

Vermetid snails. I'm sure of it. I know, seems weird that they're snails but they are. They drag these thin, almost translucent 'tentacles' across the sand to pick-up detritus and then drag it up to their mouths. They usually live in holes in the rock work.

I've got something similar to this I just discovered. It's definately nocturnal. It's about an inch across fully spread out. Clear tentacles with little white rounded tips. Almost like suckers. It's not a starfish because there is 10-15 tentacles. They are really clear and thin. During the day it pulls into the rock.

I thought spaghetti worm, but the tentacles are only about an inch long.

spaghetti would hang out in one spot and have tentacles out all the time. I have those too. There are several types of things mentioned here. Most brittle stars will not move either. They just grab stuff and pull it in. The white ones that is. The green will hunt fish and drop on them when they sleep. Sounds like a lot of stuff being listed here. You could hunt through http://www.wetwebmedia.com/lridfaqs.htm for days, looking for an ID, but this will also give you ideas on how many things can hitchhike.

It's a corallimorph apparently.

Are those reefsafe? It's small, in a crevice.. my hermit crab who lives on the ledge above it walks across it all the time.

It's about an inch across fully extended.

I'm now suspecting spaghtti worm as well.. Their tentacles are too fine to be taken in any picutre at night..
