Termites swarm HELP

I have a termite swarm and that means tenting the house. What success has anyone had with venting their tank during the tenting? Or am I better to move it all out to holding tanks for the 3 days?

Ouch, I'd move it all out. That gas is going to be everywhere and as annoying as it would be I'd pull it all apart and move everything somewhere else. Realistically I wouldn't even leave the empty tank in there.

ARGH Thats what I am hoping not to hear. Has anyone tented their house and created a vent to there tank for fresh air. Some one here must have done it.

are you sure it's termites? there are some ants that do swarm around like termites and look almost exactly like termites! I had it and used a product called terro. no more swarming ants!! you can get the stuff at ace hardware. the difference in the ants and termites are almost unnoticeable. check the web out. i think the ants have 3 parts to the body and termites have 2 parts and their antennae are alittle bit different. you'll have to use a magnifying glass to see the difference i'll check if i can find the web page again and post it so you can check for yourself.

terro works wonders! just put a few drop on a piece of paper and put it in the window sill and anywhere you see these ants running around. don't kill the because they will swarm the liquid by the thousands and take the poison to the queen. in a few days you'll notice no ants! this stuff works fast! it also works on sugar ants great. been using it for years now. no smell either.
