test kit instructions

Do you have a link for the Tunze test kit instructions ?
I was using Salifert test kits but they seem to have disappeared at most retailers. I am wanting to see how the test kits work before switching to the Tunze kits. I want to make sure they are color change test kits and not the ones where you have to compare colors.

Most of our test kits are from Macherey Nagel- PDF's can be downloaded here-

The remainder are from Merck and there website does not link to any test kits.

The kits generally work the same, the only slight complication is with the Calcium kit which is identical in color change and the test procedure to Salifert but requires a dilution of 1 part aquarium water to 20 parts RO or distilled water. If I recall the Seachem kit is identical in this regard.

Ok, now I'm totally lost . Does the Alk test kit use a color change, or is it one that you have to compare colors to a chart.

Comparing colors is a pain when you test color blind.

Alk and Ca are color change kits (titration), all of the other kits are color comparison type tests.
