Test kits? Accuracy and simplicity of usage

It really depends on what you are testing.

I use a hach digital for phosphate, when I was testing that.
Lamotte for alkalinity
Salifert for calcium and magnesium

Anything else and I usually buy a new one it's so rare. But most times anything else I look Lamotte or Hach.

If you want high-end, better than for-the-hobby, that's the way to go. Costs a few bucks more.

Red sea for nitrate, magnesium, pH
Hana for Calcium, Alk, Phos.
Have also used Red sea for Calcium, Alk and Phos and got similar results to the Hana Checker.
I did pick up an ICP anaylsis 4 pack and only used 1 so far. It was interesting to see that my Mag was reading lower on the red sea vs this test result (About 100ppm), though other measurements were similar.
