Test kits/lime water?

How do you feel about the Elios test kits?
Is there a particular brand of kalkwasser I need or is plane old lime sufficent?

Elos kits are fine. They weren't my favorite to use, but they were plenty accurate.
Any kalk is fine as long as it is food grade. A lot of people use Mrs. Wage's pickling lime.
