test kits ?

ok im real close to being ready to set up my tank, and i was wondering what test kits to buy? i know its best to have the best, but its also not always affordable. i was wanting to know if anyone has tryed the red sea marine lab kit, or the sea chem marine basic kit? i know salifert is good but all those test add up real fast. thanks for any and all opinions.

Last night I picked up the Red Sea Marine Lab for $21.99 + tax. I tried it out and I like it. Easy to use. Seems to be accurate. Also has quite a few tests.

dr fish, red sea, seachem they all work comperably

I've used Red Sea and Salifert...I'd have to give the thumbs up to Salifert for sure.
