Which brand? I am thinking about trying a mix of oceanic, and RC.... or Red Sea Coral Pro (I think that's what its called).

yea, what you mean by ummm ?

still to soon for the salt ?
 
Save the salt do the first few water changes with tap water. Once the fish die its safe to add the salt.

I know that there are some that come in boxes as well

Some come in bags too! Just don't ever get pulled over w/ a small sample bag in a ziploc in your pocket while your transporting a skimmer, airline tubing and MH lighting.... or your vodka "for dosing" LOL
