Tested my water.....

ok so im home cause of the rain. ( no work :bounce3 and I tested my water this is what came out.

PH 7.8

Nitrate 0 ppm

Nitrite 0 ppm

Ammonia 0 ppm

Phosphate 0 ppm

Carbonate Hardness 89.5 ppm

Calcium 560 ppm


I'm going to rase my Ph lv right now. Im I forgeting a test out let me know what is good.

IMO... you should check your magnesium levels, and lower your calcium level to an acceptable range. How are you raising your ph with out affecting your alk?

I'm useing Buffer Max Marine to rais it. And what is the best Magnesium test kit to get.

I use Salifert to test for Magnesium. The Range is anywhere between 1120-1350. Mine is usually at a range of 1350-1500.
You are aware that Magnesium is the key to keeping Alk & Ca++ stable.

Im down I just dont have the money to buy all the test kits. So If no one mindes I would like my water to be tested at the next meting. So I get hands on traing that is the only way I learn.... Im simple :debi:
