Testing new Camera...LPS shots

Trying to find best way to photo my corals. Rough first try, but figured I would share a couple anyways. Hope everyone's tanks are doing well.

P.S. That's a real deal Palua Neon Green Nepthea. I got a very small frag from Dr. Fosters and Smith almost a year ago, almost killed it first time I fragged it and now have a healthy colony.

Fidel,

Not sure what cam you got but can see light reflection in the glass. frags look great, but the candy cane is clearest.

A viewing pane, top down would be ideal. if your taking shots through the side, the lens flush against the glass, no flash, seems to work best imo.

love the corals!

If looking to do top downs, check into a camera box. I've seen several for sale. That gets rid of the light glare.

As Andy said, keep the lense as planar with the glass as possible to avoid distortion. Left some other tips in the Softie forum (not much, but a few basics).
