tetra heater

I just bought a tetra heater to cover for an older one that pooed the bed. It is now flickering on and off and also it has the coils inside it and they are getting orange for a quick second before it flickers off again. Is this normal or what should I do?

Doesnt sound normal, I would try and bring it back then buy a Ebojager heater, they may cost a little more but they are of better quality

yea I know, it was just a replacement until my order came in. Back to walmart tomorrow for me.

I have had them melt down all of my lps due to faulty internal thermostats, temp rose to 95 while i was at work.

I took it out this morning and the seal must have broke....the inside was full or condensation....
