So, I bought current nova extreme w/ reflectors t5 light. 6x54w bulbs and sand. I also got a Iwaki WMD 40 RLT to use as a return pump. I will post pictures shortly

So the sump is tight. It's a 38 gallon, but its what I already had. I need to get it drilled. I'm going to call Jim at Berts tomorrow. How should I configure the sump? and where should I buy glass??

Also I bought some sand. It's kinda gross and stinky atm. I guess I can rinse it with some saltwater.

Need some more rock. And to figure out if my Koralias actually work.

I just bought glass the other day at service glass in huntington. it is on 7th ave and 7th street. They have real good prices and can have it for you in a day.

Will you be running a refugium in your sump?

I setup my sump with a center return. The biggest advantage is that I can control the flow going through my fuge. The biggest disadvantage is that I'm dealing with microbubbles in to compartments rather than one.

Yea, Ill probably have a refugium. Don't know how Im going to set up the sump yet. Probably wont do it for two weeks cus im going to be busy with school. I got the tank drilled for the pump, and bought all the plumbing except for some tubing b/c lowes was out of the size i need.
