Thallasia pruning

I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with pruning thallasia? I know in terrestrial plants pruning usually encourages more vigorous growth. In the wild I would assume there are grazers constantly pruning the grasses, and this constant grazing I would assume stimulates growth. Any thoughts?

Maybe.. maybe not. Sorry David, but I'm really not sure if pruning would be a good thing or not in a captive environment. You could argue that since Thalassia has evolved alongside herbivores, the plants may continously throw new leaves regardless of whether or not old ones are being eaten. Or you could argue the opposite, that you have to stimulate the plant by wounding it.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm.
