Just wanted to say Hay! Thank you very much for inviting my family to go to Fort Desoto! We all had a GREAT time! And we caught lots of cool stuff too! Everyone was very nice and Sue was a great hostess! I will definitely be going to the next outing!
I also wanted to offer some pipefish to anyone that would like to have some. Have alot and would like to share with anyone that would like to give them a good home. KR

Can I chime in and say Thank You also?

It was a pleasure putting names to faces. Even though I was pretty distracted most of the time, I learned a bunch and we had a blast.

I did stop and pick up some surf shoes on the way home. Walking through see grass is ICKY!

OH .......I am upset now......I didn't get to put your face w/ your name.....auntbeast...... I was the one with the 2 blonde haired boys ....well next time ....please say hey you! Crystal KR

Yes nice to see everyone again a thanks Sue for organizing such a nice collection. I will try to take pics of my new babies to post them.

Thanks Todd too for everything, you were one of the main keys for the success of the event.

We have to do it again :D

Kiran: I was the one chasing around the boisterous 2 year old. ;) I left around noon.

Considering Katie (my daughter) was pretty happy leaping off the sea wall and heading out, I'm rather surprised I actually got to talk to anyone.

Shibumi: We need to get Todd talking at a meeting. An intervention is in order. He for sure has a lot of useful knowledge for us.

Thanks to Jennifer and anyone else I corralled into keeping an eye on Katie. I have no idea how to spell Wei's name, but I really enjoyed meeting him and Vanessa. I hope she got a seahorse.

i think it is spelled Huy.
thanks Sue and Russ for getting this all going.it was nice to see so many people turn out.i could see this a yearly thing.

oh that explains it....we didn't get there till about 1. Sorry I missed ya. Hey if someone out there wanted a sea horse and didn't get one, I did. It is pretty tiny. I put him in the 50 gal. and he is lost. He keeps getting brisked away by the powerheads. Vanessa...if you didn't get one you are welcome to this lil guy. If she doesn't want him....then maybe someone with other sea horses can have him....I just don't know if I can keep him alive.
Also, I got a ton of little trigger fish....don't know what kind they are. Some are green some are other colors. If someone would like one of those just let me know.....they seem to be doing very well in the 50 gal right now. Last but not least, I got 20 nice size BIG snails. My family and I stuck around till low tide and it was very easy to find them. If there is anyone that would like one of those let me know. KR

Thanks guys and gals for showing up. really enjoyed it and yes we can do again maybe sept. Ithink the children really enjoyed the future reefers

thanks Russ

Thank you all for coming out today! I was so happy that so many of you came. I hope everybody enjoyed the bbq. Russ wanted to make sure that went well. Thank you all for bringing out so many delicious things for all of us to enjoy.
Todd thanks again for all your contributions to today's event. The starfish have found 5 new homes!
Thanks to all that helped gather lots of snails for me. You all know who you are..:D

Crystal, yes Vanessa did get a seahorse.
Lisa, seagrass is ICKY!

Yes Chris, I believe we can make this a yearly event and hopefully we can find lots of other places to have it.

I am already planning our next event...

What a great turn out.
Many thanks to Russ and Sue. Especially Russ, he's always cooking something good :)
Thanks Todd for the Serpant Stars.

Vanessa said Big tanks to Alaine (ladyfsu) and the kids for finding her a Seahorse.

It was great meeting everyone there. We had a blast.

OK pics below. I took pics around 12 and so missed an entire second group I think. We left at 130, and by that time a LOT more people had showed up.

My whole group had fun. My kids could critter hunt all day long.

Huy, glad Vanessa got a seahorse. It was fun having found it. Keep me posted on that (and it's Laine just FYI).

I'm going to # the pics. I don't know people's names, sorry. Post up names if you recognize people.
