Guys, Veterans Day isn't until November. With all due respect, I'll withhold my thanks today towards all who served in favor of a solemn silence for those who served and made the ultimate sacrifice.

Of course technically you are correct Joel. Today we memoralize our fallen heros. But, I think we need to remember our veterans everyday.

Thankfully we can be thankful everyday for those who sacrifice for others -- No matter how much (a life) or how little (a few dollars or some time). Sacrifice for others is rare in our "Me, Me, Me, I, I, I, Me, Me, Me" world. I am glad that I saw this before going to bed. Today could have been more than swimming and cooking out and sales at the clothing and furniture stores. BUT, it sure is nice that I have the freedom to do those things, huh.
