Thanks to Fedex, here are my new clown fish and 12" RBTA.

The pic is bad but it shows it's mouth gaping open an inch and a half.

GREAT planning Fedex. Way to fly right into a snowed in airport instead of rerouting. :mad2:

Yeah insurance only covers if the box gets broken and damages the item and if it gets lost.

We shipped a very expensive fish to CA and UPS ran the box over and they didn't even cover it, they didn't even ship it or refund me any of my money for shipping. They simply said you should of put tape around the box every 6" or some B.S. .... Bastards

So... curious. Why did you:

1 - Mail order two critters VERY easily found locally?
2 - Mail order said items in the dead of Pittsburgh winter?

I'm not dead set against mail order, but this sort of thing does happen.

Can't find a 12" RBTA for $100 in PGH. Or it seems like for any price.

Pittsburgh winter didn't kill them. Getting held for a day because of a Memphis storm and not letting the shipper retrieve them is what got them killed.

Here's one that came from a 10 degree night and arrived on a 13 degree morning and is fine.

If they delivered when they were supposed to these guys would have been fine.

If you know of someone local with a good price on a large RBTA let me know as I am still looking.
