Thanks Jeff and Mike

for the talk on DIY B-Ionic. And for the kits.

It's nice that one need not have a PhD in chemistry to be able to synthesize these essential compounds for our corals.

I second that. Thanks a lot guys. I have read the post about making your own two-part before, but it makes much more since when someone explains it to you.

Cheers from me as well. I would have never known it was so easy unless I'd seen your presentation. Thanks for taking the time to save us all a little $$.

Next DIY, Jeff and Mike should show use how to build a skimmer with a bubble plate, injectors, every mod possible and to top it off with a Red Dragon 12 m3 Pump. Then they should raffle it off or even create two or three of them to raffle off. I think it would be a great idea :)

Great idea! And the one after that they could build everyone a calcium reactor and raffle off pumps for those!

Good thing Mike emptied his tank. Now he's got lots of time for building. :D

Hey guys,

Sadly had to miss the meeting as I was called out on a search. Bad result on the search but good news on my tank ,so far. I was looking for some live rock and traveled to SF and found no rock anywhere in the Northbay. Luckily stopped by a closing pet store in Sebastopol and found them selling the rock in the display tank. Got a good deal on everything inside the tank including rock, snails brittlestars chromis and hermits. Also picked up a couple of test kits and additives as well. I got the email address of the owner and will help him post a few things our group might like. Everything was at least 75% off. My haul of 90+lbs of rock critters and chemicals was only $170. And it is still alive.(which is good for my luck lately)

P.M me with a wish list and I will see what he has.

See you next time....Craig.

p.s. If it is inappropriate to post for him here let me know Thanks.
